| King Cobra Racing is now able to offer a heavy brass toe-in block to replace the original Cougar alloy kit part.
This beautifully engineered part is cnc cut from solid brass billet stock and is designed as a direct replacement for the original alloy kit part.
The KCR toe-in block weighs in at 14 grams and so it is significantly heavier than the alloy kit item that weighs around the 4 gram mark.
By using this new item as an integral part of the car you can add weight to the rear end of the chassis to help tune the chassis balance without needing to add ugly brass weights to the car.
The first production run of these parts has been made with a 3 degree toe-in, as this is the most popular option most racers would choose, but future production can include a kit standard 4 degree or a 5 degree option if we are asked for them.
Those going to the Southport National race this weekend can see the part fitted to Chris Sutcliffe's car, and Mark will be able to supply them trackside from next week onwards.
Rossendale Models will have these for sale from next Saturday onwards, and they will be available to the UK trade from the same date.
The price for this new part will be £19.99 including vat.
We can engineer any option parts to improve the standard car, so we will offer more parts in the future and respond to any requests for specific parts we can sell to the racers.
We will consider making option parts for any of the most popular cars. Our strength is that we can respond quickly, and improve on standard parts to help the racer get the best results.
We do not need massive numbers to make parts, and we are able to modify and change the specification of the hop-up part we make if we can further improve them in the future. |
